Egypt has qualified for the 2026 World Cup after a convincing 3-0 victory against Djibouti, a match held in Morocco. The goals were scored by Ibrahim Adel and Mohamed Salah, who scored twice. President Abdel Fattah al-Sissi congratulated the team for their well-deserved success. Egypt finished first in Group A of the African qualifiers, accumulating 23 points, thus securing their place in the competition.
