The Corvinul Hunedoara club announced on Wednesday the signing of a contract valid for two seasons with Jordanian central defender Mohammad Abualnadi, who is a member of the national team participating in the World Cup in the United States, Mexico, and Canada. At 25 years old, Abualnadi has 15 caps for the Jordan national team, being a regular starter. He recently played in friendlies against Switzerland and Colombia, and his national team is in Group J of the World Cup, alongside Austria, Algeria, and Argentina.
At the club level, Abualnadi played last season in the Malaysian top league for Selangor FC, where he made 38 appearances and played in the final of the Malaysia Cup. He also holds American citizenship, having experience in the second league in the USA with Swope Park Rangers and Sporting Kansas City, as well as a brief period in Iraq with Al-Qasim.
