The Champions League returns with a fiery clash between Cristi Chivu’s Inter and Jose Mourinho’s Real Madrid / The complete schedule for the first round of the group stage

The 2026/27 edition will be the 72nd of the prestigious European competition and the 35th since its name was changed to UEFA Champions League. PSG are the champions of the last two editions, after defeating Arsenal in the 2025/26 season final on penalties (1-1, pens. 4-3) and Inter in the 2024/25 final by 5-0. The 2026/27 Champions League will take place between 7 July 2026 and 5 June 2027, with the final being held at the Metropolitano Stadium in Madrid.

The first round of the main group stage will take place over three days, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, and will begin with a sensational duel between Real Madrid and Inter.
