Cristi Chivu's Inter lost in extra time on Atletico Madrid's field, 1-2, in a match where the Romanian's team missed several important chances.

"I smoked three cigarettes one after another… I told the team what needed to be said. There is much regret for the premises of this match, we did not deserve to lose, but lately we are gathering almost nothing. I saw a lot of sadness in the boys' eyes, but this is football: we have to react and do everything possible to bounce back," said Cristi Chivu.
