Caster Semenya, double Olympic champion at 800 m, has decided not to appeal to the Swiss Supreme Court, ending a seven-year legal battle against eligibility rules that have prohibited her from participating in competitions since 2018. Although the European Court of Human Rights determined that she did not receive a fair trial, Semenya will not continue the challenge. Now, at 34 years old, she is turning to coaching, after being a central figure in the debates about sex rules in sports.
