Beatrice Romanescu has been elected executive vice president of the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF), a historic achievement for Romania, which, for the first time in nearly 100 years, is represented at the highest level in the leadership of this global body. The announcement was made by the Romanian Table Tennis Federation (FR Tenis de Masă). The elections took place during the ITTF General Assembly, held online on November 15, concluding an electoral process that began in May 2025, in Doha. This election underscores the importance of Romania in international table tennis.
