Arsenal, the first finalist of the Champions League after winning against Atletico Madrid

Arsenal defeated Atletico Madrid 1-0 in the return leg at the Etihad Stadium and is the first finalist of the Champions League. The hosts failed to pose a real threat to Oblak's goal until the end of the first half. In the 44th minute, Gyokeres was launched into the box, crossed, Trossard received and shot, the ball was heavily parried by Oblak and Bukayo Saka opened the scoring.

This is the second time in history that the Gunners reach the final act of the Champions League, after 2006, when they lost to FC Barcelona.

The Gunners will find out their opponent on Wednesday evening, when Bayern hosts PSG (in the first leg 4-5).
