Argentina is preparing for the friendly match against Guatemala after the cancellation of the Finalissima

Following the Finalissima, the Argentina national team, led by Lionel Scaloni, will gather for a week of intensive training camp in Argentina, ahead of the friendly match against Guatemala, scheduled for Tuesday, March 31. The Argentine Football Association (AFA) has announced that details about the training schedule, the list of summoned players, and the stadium where the match will take place will be communicated soon.

Initially, Argentina was set to play a friendly against Qatar on March 31, but the Finalissima, which was supposed to pit Argentina against Spain, was canceled due to disagreements between UEFA, CONMEBOL, and AFA, stemming from the conflict in the Middle East. At the same time, the Spanish Football Federation announced a friendly match with Serbia on March 27. Argentina will begin its journey in the World Cup on June 17, in Group J, against Algeria.
