Volkswagen has set up AI Lab, a company dedicated to artificial intelligence, to develop digital products for future cars

The company will act as a competence center, identifying new product ideas for the Volkswagen Group and coordinating them internally. Volkswagen sees considerable potential in high-performance speech recognition and in connecting the user's digital environments with those of the vehicle.
