Meta will allocate at least $38 billion in long-term investments in artificial intelligence, an increase of $1 billion from the previous estimate.

The company plans to invest significant amounts of its advertising revenues in the development of artificial intelligence and virtual worlds. The decision comes as the Reality Labs division has posted significant operating losses, but Meta promises to continue investing in this area.
