The police in Orhei caught three students with drugs, recovering 30 packages of mephedrone. They are being investigated for trafficking in prohibited substances.

Three young people aged 15, 16, and 18, students at a college in Chișinău, were detected by police in Orhei while recovering a package hidden under a tree. Inside the package, 30 packets were found, each containing approximately one gram of mephedrone.
The General Inspectorate of Police (IGP) conducted raids in high-risk areas to prevent and combat illicit drug trafficking. The prohibited substances were seized for expertise, and legal actions were initiated against the young people to establish the circumstances and hold them accountable according to the current legislation.
