Students in Chisinau will learn online tomorrow, February 18, due to the orange code for snowfall, announced Mayor Ion Ceban.

The mayor of the municipality of Chișinău, Ion Ceban, announced that students will learn remotely on February 18, due to the orange snow warning. The decision was communicated on February 17, to allow parents, teachers, and students to prepare for the online classes.

Ceban emphasized that this measure aims to reduce traffic and facilitate the intervention of municipal services in difficult weather conditions. The mayor also mentioned that the measure could be extended, depending on the evolution of the weather.

The municipality recommends employees who can work from home to opt for this solution and urges parents to limit non-urgent travel, paying increased attention to children and elderly people.
