Although the opinion was issued, it was not formalized, which delayed the meeting. The spokesperson for the Executive, Ioana Dogioiu, mentioned that the meeting could take place around noon.

The CSM plenary negatively reviewed the draft law, which stipulates that judges' pensions will be 55% of the average gross allowances from the last 5 years, with a cap of 70% of the last net allowance. The transition period until retirement will be 15 years, starting from January 1, 2026. After adoption, the project will be sent to Parliament for accountability, with a short deadline for amendments.

The last day to meet this milestone, according to the PNRR, is Friday, but President Nicușor Dan mentioned that the EU could be flexible in negotiations.
