Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan announced that next week the third package of fiscal-budgetary measures will be presented, aimed at local and central administration, which will include staff reductions and expenses.

These measures will be adopted by the Government's assumption of responsibility, with the aim of reducing the budget deficit by at least two percentage points. Staff reductions will be gradually implemented, targeting approximately 10% of local administration employees.

Bolojan emphasized the importance of obtaining European funds for investments, such as highways and hospitals. A calculation formula for the number of employees based on population will also be established, and each ministry will need to adopt normative acts to implement these measures. The Prime Minister stated that this package is not limited to cuts, but aims at a change in administrative philosophy, transforming the administration into a development factor for communities.
