Radu Miruță, the Minister of Defense, stated that Romania has been notified that American military equipment and associated personnel will arrive "soon", within hours or days, not months.

These equipment, approved by Parliament at the proposal of the President of Romania, are intended to increase the country's defense capacity. Miruță mentioned that between 400 and 500 American soldiers are expected, which will contribute to enhancing national security.

In the context of the parliamentary vote, which was marked by controversies, the Opposition refused to support President Nicușor Dan's request, citing the classified nature of the document and the desire for peace. This temporary deployment of American forces comes in response to the security situation in the region, especially in light of the conflict in Iran.
