Oana Gheorghiu, the Deputy Prime Minister of Romania, stated that a sectoral map will be discussed with the ministers to establish the state's priorities for the next 10 years. This will become a strategic tool, helping the Government decide in which sectors to invest and where to withdraw. The map will allow for a deeper analysis of companies, not only based on financial indicators but also depending on the state's ambitions in strategic areas such as defense.

Additionally, Gheorghiu mentioned the creation of a unique register of state companies, which will provide a clear picture of their situation, updated monthly. This register will include financial data and restructuring plans, allowing for rapid intervention in case companies do not comply with the established plans. The reform will start with a pilot project involving 10 companies from the Transport and Energy sectors, with the list to be finalized soon.
