The National Liberal Party (PNL) has declared that it is deeply concerned about the way the procedure has unfolded in the case resolved by the Ilfov Tribunal, after former members of the party's leadership contested the internal decisions. PNL emphasizes that, ten days after the ruling, the party's lawyers did not have access to the case file, thus affecting the right to defense and raising questions about the transparency of the process.

Additionally, these former members have filed a new action at the Bucharest Tribunal to suspend and annul the decisions adopted by the Extraordinary Congress. PNL believes that these actions are intended to discredit the party and block the legitimate decisions adopted democratically. The party will defend its rights through legal means and reaffirms its unity around the decisions of the Congress. PNL continues to carry out its political activity without impediments, despite internal challenges.
