PNL supports the convening of Parliament in an extraordinary session for the adoption of the necessary projects to meet the milestones of the PNRR.

During the meeting of the National Permanent Bureau of PNL, the president of the formation, Ilie Bolojan, announced the status of the six essential legislative projects for Romania: four of these have already been submitted to Parliament, while the other two, including the project regarding the strengthening of integrity legislation, are set to be registered in the coming days.

The National Political Bureau has mandated the PNL parliamentary groups to support the adoption of these projects, considering that each fulfilled milestone will allow access to significant European funds, with an estimated final tranche of approximately 3 billion euros.

PNL emphasizes that the salary law must comply with the requirements of the European Commission and the capacity of the state budget, warning that inappropriate amendments could compromise access to European funds.

Additionally, PNL proposes organizing an extraordinary parliamentary session to accelerate the adoption process of these projects, highlighting the responsibility of all parties to respect the commitments made.

Also, during the meeting, there was a discussion about the Liberal Conservative Platform, launched by Bolojan's challengers, which aims to create a space for internal debate. Criticisms of the current leadership were expressed by several members, including Alina Gorghiu and Raluca Turcan, who emphasized the need for coherence in upholding liberal values.

The Bucharest Tribunal has suspended the decisions of the PNL Congress, which has generated internal tensions and led to a reorganization of the party's leadership.
