Nicușor Dan: Romania will have a pro-Western government soon

President Nicușor Dan announced the completion of an initial set of meetings with the leaders of pro-Western parties and representatives of national minorities, highlighting the constraints each party faces during the negotiations. He stated that discussions will continue based on established scenarios, reaffirming Romania's commitment to a pro-Western government within a reasonable timeframe. Dan emphasized that there is an agreement on essential policies, such as OECD, SAFE, and PNRR, and on the country's fiscal trajectory. The objective of the new government will be to define and propose the budget for 2027 by this autumn. This statement comes after the dismissal of the Bolojan government in Parliament, following a motion of censure initiated by PSD and AUR.
