Nicușor Dan, in Le Monde, about the cancellation of elections and Russian influence in elections: "Romanian intelligence services can recognize signs of Russian interference, but it is much more difficult to prove it. In two or three months I will be able to publish a report that will include all the information related to this case."

President Nicușor Dan gave an exclusive interview to the French publication Le Monde. Published on Monday, December 8, the interview is complex, where the president provided a series of answers to French journalists.

Asked whether he can assert that Russia manipulated the election, Nicușor Dan stated: "The report of the general prosecutor's office, published in September, describes a mechanism involving four Russian political advertising companies. Reports made by other intelligence services, including the French ones, confirm this. Websites usually dedicated to sports and others dedicated to alternative medicine suddenly shifted towards the candidate Călin Georgescu. I estimate that in two to three months I will be able to publish a report that will include all the information related to this case and will place them in their context. Romanian intelligence services can recognize signs of Russian interference, but it is much more difficult to prove it."
