CNA recognizes that disinformation has got out of control and is preparing for possible early elections, calling for tougher measures against illegal content.

Valentin Jucan, vice-president of CNA, underlines the seriousness of disinformation in Romania and prepares for early elections next spring. He proposes increasing fines for media violations, noting that current sanctions are insufficient. Jucan says the CNA must become more effective in fighting illegal content online and react quickly to disinformation campaigns, given the increased risks in the current political context.
