Marcel Ciolacu sent a message of gratitude after attending the funeral of Pope Francis, highlighting the positive impact he has had on people. The PM noted that the Pope always offered comfort to the suffering and always had a good thought for the Romanian people, citing his visit in 2019 as a memorable moment. In Romania, Saturday was a day of national mourning in memory of the Pontiff, who died at the age of 88.
