Daniel Băluță stated that the audit requests of the mayor of the Capital, Ciprian Ciucu, at STB and Termoenergetica are an attempt to settle scores within the party, accusing him of baron-like behavior. Băluță emphasized that PSD will not support the increase of STB tariffs, arguing that this would affect family budgets, in the context of the general increase in taxes. The mayor of Sector 4 claims that he proposed alternative solutions to generate savings, but these were not accepted.

Additionally, Băluță criticized the lack of reforms and investment in infrastructure from the general mayor, stating that his priorities are misguided. Băluță called for the mayor to focus on the needs of the citizens and to stop the internal disputes, emphasizing that the politicization of these issues is unacceptable.
