A few hours before the swearing in of Romania's new president, Ilie Bolojan signed decrees dismissing several presidential advisors, including Cristian Diaconescu and Ana Birchall, from their posts upon request. They will leave office from various dates, most of them on June 30, 2025. The remaining advisors will ensure the transition during this period.
