A protest rally organized by AUR against the decision to cancel the first round of the presidential elections took place in Bucharest on Sunday. Tens of thousands of people marched in a disciplined march from University Square to Victoriei Square and on to the Cotroceni and then back to the government.

There is no official estimate of the number of participants. AUR leader, George Simion, claims that 100,000 people took part in the march from Victoriei Square to the Cotroceni.
