Ionuț Moșteanu has been appointed Minister of Defense, pledging to work with professionals in the ministry for a modern and efficient army.

During his investiture ceremony, Ionuț Moșteanu said he would approach his mandate with responsibility and respect for the Romanian Army. He promised to clean up bureaucracy, attract European funds and invest in equipping the army. Moșteanu emphasized the importance of an attractive army for young people and of working with political leaders to ensure a secure and respected Romania in NATO.
