Mozaik Investments is acquiring the Fit4U network in Oradea through its project company, M-Ventures, in a transaction that is expected to be completed once the specific conditions have been met. Fit4U operates five clubs in the city’s main neighborhoods, including a recently opened location in Industrial Park 1.
The acquisition is part of the strategy to consolidate Romania’s fitness market and expand the Urban Fitness brand. The group estimates that it will reach approximately 25 clubs by the end of this year, around 50 locations by the end of 2027, and approximately 100 clubs over the next five to six years. Three additional Fit4U locations are planned for 2027.
The transaction follows the acquisitions of City Gym, Urban Fitness & Gym, and No1 Fitness. The strategy combines acquisitions with the opening of new clubs, amid the local market’s high potential. The penetration rate of fitness services is approximately 5% in Romania, compared with 15–20% in European Union countries.
Urban Fitness offers clubs with access and digitized training features, in spaces ranging from 700 to 1,500 square meters. Fit4U founder Daniel Bolba will become regional director at Urban Fitness and will coordinate the network’s development in the region.
