AFFIDEA Romania acquired 3 medical centers, expanding the national network to 74 clinics

Affidea Romania has recently acquired the MedIF medical centers in Otopeni, Multimed in Miercurea Ciuc and Kaliophion Medical in Braila increasing the national network to 74 multidisciplinary clinics.
Affidea Romania continues its expansion plan in 2025 and facilitates access to its integrated medical services to patients from the cities of Otopeni and Brăila. With the acquisition of the clinic in Miercurea Ciuc, it thus expands its presence in the region, where it was present with other medical facilities.
"We carefully analyze the demand for integrated medical services at the national level and we acquire or develop clinics to facilitate access to as many categories of patients as possible, both through CAS settlement and privately, at advantageous prices. Affidea Romania's investment plan for 2025 will exceed 100 million euros, which will be allocated to the expansion of the national network, as well as to equip the clinics with the most modern investigation equipment," says Razvan Predica, Affidea Cluster CEO: Romania, Hungary and Greece.

MedIF Clinic in Otopeni is one of the most important multidisciplinary centers in the Ilfov-Nord area, with more than 15 medical specialties, where more than 30,000 patients are treated annually.
Among the medical specialties are: ENT, Pediatrics, Ophthalmology, Urology, Gynecology, Cardiology, Diabetes, Dermatology, Psychiatry and so on, 13 of which can be accessed through CAS settlement.
The clinic also has a day hospitalization ward with a capacity of 6 beds serving the specialties Dermatovenerology, General Surgery and Urology.

Affidea Romania is expanding its portfolio of services in Miercurea Ciuc, until now only providing imaging investigations. Today, with the acquisition of the Multimed clinic, we offer patients consultation services in more than 20 medical specialties, state-of-the-art imaging (MRI, CT and other advanced imaging equipment), as well as day hospitalization with a capacity of 10 beds for the specialties of Neurology, Internal Diseases and Physiotherapy. Multimed Clinic treats more than 25,000 patients annually, with contracts for occupational medicine for more than 5,000 patients.

Medical specialties in Multimed clinic: Neurology, Psychiatry, Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, Urology, Pediatrics, Occupational Medicine, Orthopedics, Pulmonology, Gastroenterology, Cardiology, Surgery etc.

"Until the finalization of these acquisitions, Affidea Romania was present in 30 cities with 71 clinics, but today we have increased the number of medical facilities to 74 and added 2 new cities - Otopeni and Brăila," says Răzvan Predica.

Kaliophion Medical Clinic is one of the most important centers in the county of Braila, providing advanced medical imaging services: MRI, CT, Ultrasound performed with state-of-the-art equipment, for a number of over 10,000 patients per year.
