A 24-year-old man from Iasi has been charged with attempted murder after attacking his uncle with a pitchfork.

The incident took place in the village of Dumbrava, Ciurea commune, Iasi county, as a result of a pre-existing conflict. The young man broke into his uncle's yard and assaulted him with a pitchfork, causing life-threatening injuries. He was remanded in custody for attempted murder.
