A 54-year-old woman from Iași is being investigated for killing a pigeon after she caught it and ate it.

The woman was caught by the police after it was reported that she caught and ate a pigeon in Iași. She was taken to the police station for questioning, exhibiting agitated and inappropriate behavior. Due to her condition, she was admitted to the Socola Psychiatric Institute for specialized care. A criminal case has been opened for the intentional killing of animals, according to the animal protection law. Investigations are ongoing.
