Meteorologists warn that extreme weather will continue into 2024, after 2023 was recorded as the warmest year on record.

The year 2023 recorded record temperatures, the warmest year in the history of meteorological measurements in Romania. There are already the first signs of drought, and the summer of 2024 is expected to be scorching, given the upward trend in temperatures.
