The Tureni Express Road, linking the DN1 to the A3, has been inaugurated, banning vehicles over 7.5 tons from entering Cluj-Napoca.

Cristian Pistol, director of CNAIR, announced the completion of works on the Tureni Express Road, which will be open to traffic from 14. This new 4.96 km artery will eliminate heavy traffic from Cluj-Napoca, prohibiting the access of about 1,800 trucks over 7.5 tons to the city. The project, carried out by Dimex 2000 and Con-A, was worth 562.6 million lei, financed by the Transport Program. The inauguration was marked by the presence of local officials.
