ANAR has announced that the attenuation of the floods in the natural floodplains of Serbia will result in significantly lower maximum flows at the entrance to the country. The flow of the Danube at the Baziaș section reached 5,700 mc/s, above the multiannual average for September. Estimates indicate that the Danube floods will enter Romania around September 28-29.
