The City Hall of Sector 1 has sent the eviction notice to the company Teomod Style Trading SRL, which managed the 16th of February Market, in order to start the modernization process of the market. This action comes after a 12-month delay in resolving the contractual situation. The City Hall has obtained provisions to demolish illegal constructions in the area and will implement a modernization plan after the release of the public domain. The square is illegally occupied by controversial businessman Nicolae Cristescu.
