Although adopted and promulgated, Romania's anti-drone law is inapplicable because there are no implementation regulations.

The anti-drone law, promulgated by Ilie Bolojan in May, in his capacity as interim president, allows the Romanian Army to shoot down drones, but for it to be effectively applied, regulations that are still pending are necessary. These regulations must be approved in the next CSAT meeting, but no date has been set. Although the army can act to protect citizens even without these regulations, the delay in establishing procedures can lead to slow reactions in critical situations, where every second counts.
