Wind gusts in the county of Sălaj caused damage to buildings and cars, but there were no casualties.

On Monday, the county of Sălaj was hit by strong thunderstorms with wind gusts of 70-90 km/h, which caused damage in the town of Jibou. Two roofs were blown off, damaging six cars and a balcony, and one person was trapped in an overturned container and rescued by firefighters. Weather warnings for gales and heavy downpours have been issued for the whole area.
