Two young men in a kayak were swept away by a speedboat in Costinești, where they were later recovered and received medical attention.

The incident took place in an area supervised by lifeguards when the pleasure boat hit the kayak rented by the two young men. The impact was violent and one of the youngsters was thrown into the water and the other seriously injured. Both were recovered and received medical attention and are in stable condition. Police are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
