The General Council of the Capital has approved a 2.3 million lei project for seismic risk maps in Bucharest.

The project was approved after the Ministry of Development asked the Bucharest City Hall to analyze and identify funding opportunities. The National Research and Development Institute for Earth Physics submitted a tender for the elaboration of natural risk maps for earthquakes in Bucharest, estimating the costs at 2,325,000 lei.
