Radu Rațiu, vice-president of Cluj County Council, said that the purchase of the 34 school minibuses, financed by the PNRR, was carried out transparently, following a national guide. Cluj County ranks 5th in terms of purchase prices. Rațiu emphasized that the minibuses have special equipment for education and that the purchase was checked by national and European bodies. Funds have also been saved which will allow the purchase of 9 additional minibuses. The Minister of Investment will send the Control Body to check the procurement process, following controversies over the prices charged by suppliers.
