Vegetation fires in the Babadag area have prompted authorities to issue a RO-ALERT message warning drivers of reduced visibility due to smoke. ISU Delta Tulcea reported that the fires are affecting extensive agricultural crops and that firefighters are facing difficult conditions due to strong winds and dry vegetation. Traffic is being directed by Traffic Police to facilitate the intervention of firefighting crews.
