Rescuers in Alba have tested a flying backpack that could reduce intervention time in mountain accidents.

The equipment, called a jetpack, was tested on a route that would have taken an hour and a half on foot, but was completed in just two minutes. The device could be used to reach victims of mountain accidents quickly, giving them first aid until a helicopter or ground crew arrives.
