The favorable weather has generated significant wind and solar energy production.

The analyzed data shows that for a few hours, dispatchable wind and solar generation covered more than 45% of domestic electricity consumption. However, the price of energy on the spot market in Romania was higher than in neighboring countries, due to the shortage of generation capacity.
