The owner of a bakery company in Prahova was detained for receiving money by assigning debts.

Prosecutors from the PCA Ploiești have detained G.G., the owner of a large bakery company, on charges of loan-sharking. Between December 2020 and October 2023, he concluded 39 assignment of receivables contracts with another company, which in reality were simulated loan contracts. Thus, the company collected a total interest of over RON 35 million by disguising the loans through these contracts. The investigation included searches at the suspect's home and at his company's premises.
