A 58-year-old inmate escaped from an ANP ambulance while being transferred to Jilava Penitentiary, fleeing to an agricultural area.

The man, who had a pre-trial arrest warrant issued by the Botoșani Court, jumped out of the ANP Botoșani ambulance, near the A7 highway exit, and fled to an agricultural area near the city of Bacău. The police were notified and started the search for him.
