The Parliament's joint Standing Bureaux have decided to set up a special joint Chamber of Deputies and Senate Committee to combat trafficking in human beings.

The Commission will have 25 members appointed by the parliamentary groups and aims to analyze the causes and factors that encourage trafficking in human beings, evaluate the effectiveness of the measures implemented and draft legislative proposals. It will also cooperate with other relevant parliamentary committees and report on its work every six months.
