The intervention took place in the area of Acele Morarului, where the climbers, properly equipped, chose an unrecognized route and faced unstable snow. After an initial rescue attempt by helicopter, which was canceled due to the weather, the rescue team continued the mission by land. They managed to reach the four climbers and bring them safely to the resort of Busteni.
