The Meta company, led by Mark Zuckerberg, has announced ambitious plans to invest between 66 and 72 billion dollars in expanding the infrastructure needed to develop artificial intelligence by 2025. This represents a $30 billion increase from 2024, underscoring Meta's commitment to compete with leaders like OpenAI and Google. Meanwhile, Meta's revenue grew 22% in the latest quarter to $47.5 billion and net profit rose 36%, but the virtual reality division continues to post significant losses.
