This represents a $30 billion increase from 2024, underscoring Meta's commitment to compete with leaders like OpenAI and Google. Meanwhile, Meta's revenue grew 22% in the latest quarter to $47.5 billion and net profit rose 36%, but the virtual reality division continues to post significant losses.
