Hong Kong's Data Protection Authority has begun an investigation into a major security breach at Louis Vuitton that compromised the personal information of some 419,000 customers. The exposed data includes names, passport details, addresses, emails, phone numbers, purchase history and product preferences. Louis Vuitton confirmed the incident, saying that payment information was not affected, and is working with authorities to manage the situation. Similar incidents have also been reported in South Korea and the UK.
