The ISU Bucharest-Ilfov firefighters are intervening to extinguish a fire at the Zoo, with no reported victims.

The fire broke out at a barn within the Bucharest Zoo, covering an area of approximately 2,000 square meters, manifesting with open flames and smoke emissions. To extinguish the fire, 11 fire-fighting vehicles, one intervention and rescue vehicle from heights, as well as a SMURD ambulance were alerted. The intervention is ongoing, and so far no casualties have been reported.
