The parents brought the baby to the hospital with digestive problems and then had to transfer him to the Emergency Hospital for Children in Cluj-Napoca. There, the baby developed a fever and a urine culture revealed a staphylococcus aureus infection. Transferred to intensive care, the baby died on November 10. The death certificate mentions several health problems, including sepsis with an unspecified starting point.
